Meet Abigail G. Washington.

Hi, my name is Abigail G. Washington. I’m the humbled owner of a small quiet company called Elegant in Black, LLC.

When not traveling within the United States with my business, I am in New Orleans, Louisiana; where Elegant in Black, LLC was born fourteen years ago.

I owe the way I dress, to my mom. She promised GOD, that if she ever had children, she would make sure that they were well dressed, educated, and fed. Even today in my 60’s, people who know me reminisce about how my mother dressed my siblings and I.

When I pick attire that is sold to you, I look for colors, texture, and durability. I also look at what’s being worn today. And when searching for the ideal apparel, I look for elegance that leaves something to the imagination.

So, fashion is my cup of tea, but, seeing the smiles on the face of my customer is very satisfying too. Picking a garment is more than an eight hour job. Its pairing the client with the garment in everyway; because in the end she makes the outfit not the other way around. And my reward is the smile that says she’s satisfied.
